Abstract :

This talk presents current evidence on the properties of human derived mesenchymal stem cells including origin, proliferative potential, plasticity, stability of cells and their viability and use of the MSC from basic science all the way to the clinical setting such as neurodegenerative disease and improvement in immunomodulatory activity. A review of preclinical studies and clinical trials using this cell type is performed. Prospects for the use of mesenchymal stem cells, in cell transplantation are associated with the need for specialized collection of MSC and biobanking and transplant criteria. info@arhtritiusa.net
