Abstract :

Gene M Ransom III is the CEO of the largest physician organization in Maryland, Med-Chi, the Maryland State Medical Society. As Med-Chi Executive, he implements Med- Chi�s mission as an Advocate for physicians, patients and the public health of Maryland. He has worked on key public health issues like protecting Medicaid, promoting public health programs, and insurance reform in his role as Director. He was elected to the Queen Anne�s County Commission in November 2017. He was the only incumbent County Commissioner re-elected in the 2006 election. He graduated from The University of Maryland with Honors in Economics and University of Baltimore School of Law.
