Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) acupuncture has a history of 4,000 years of clinical practice. As early as 2,000 years ago, it has formed a systematic and mature medical theory and clinical diagnosis and treatment system with high feasibility. Up to now, it has guided the clinical practice of traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture practice, and even today, modern medicine development also has important references. Medical clinical practice of applied disciplines like early human medicine is more important for the clinical emergency services, especially critical care services. Chinese medicine, including traditional Chinese herbs medicine and particular acupuncture, in their 4000 years of clinical practice, has accumulated a very rich experience in emergency treatment. Although, the time is different, modern science and technology with each passing day, the traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture still has its clinical efficacy and safety and has important practical significance. This article discusses the history of emergency treatment of TCM, the characteristics of emergency treatment of TCM, and the author's TCM acupuncture and herbs clinic practice experiences of emergency treatment from the past 27 years.
