Abstract :

We are well aware that the nature?s design for birth process is quiet ingenious & efficient, though when things don?t get just right its effects are traumatic for the newborn & his/her family. The disability is not limited to the disabled individual only but it also affects those who are surrounding him/her. Persons with disabilities, ?the world?s largest minority?, often face barriers to participation in all aspects of society. Barriers faced by persons with disabilities are, therefore, a detriment to society as a whole, & accessibility is necessary to achieve progress & development for those affected due to disability. We are associated with Sanvedna Cerebral Paralysis & Mental Retardation Rehabilitation School and our experience allows one to understand, how this school has rightly perceived and removed the barriers encountered by the disabled & the entire family by creating opportunity for self & for those who are affected with disability through starting a rehabilitation centre for the children affected due to Cerebral Paralysis & Mental Retardation. Our experience also opens the doors of Homoeopathic research in the management of children with Cerebral Paralysis & Mental Retardation.
