Biography :

Raman Chawla MD, DNB, DM is a well-known Cardiologist and currently Chief interventional cardiologist/Managing Director of Care Max Super Specialty hospital, Jalandhar, India. He received M.D. cardiology degree from prestigious G.B.Pant hospital in 1995. He has extensive experience of 23 years in Cardiac Interventions/Electrophysiology with special interest in complicated procedures like ICD /CRT-D implantation, BMV, Multi Vessel Angioplasty, Bifurcation and Left Main Angioplasties etc. He has performed about 75 thousand interventional procedures till now. He is the first one to bring concept of Venous Interventions/ stenting and only one to do Prostate artery embolization, launched new concept of doing angiography /angioplasty through minimum invasive technique as “Day Care Cath and Radial Lounge”. He has been invited as international faculty & speaker at various countries for instance MY LIVE at Malaysia 2016, Indo Japan CTO club 2016, CCT Japan 2015, ASIA/PCR Singapore 2014, TCTAP Seoul etc. He has chaired a number of national and international conferences, workshops and is member of numerous program committees, received many prestigious honors, national/international awards. He is the only International faculty awarded consecutively for 3 Years (2014, 2015 & 2016) at Prestigious International HKSTENT Conference at Hong Kong. He has received awards from state government of Punjab and got nominated for prestigious Padma Bhusan award of Indian government.
