Abstract :

Block chain is one of the technologies that is attracting more and more attention from of various fields, including public budget management in education thanks to its unique features, such as decentralization, reliability and security. Despite the positive side of block chain, there are some trends of its application to public budget distribution in education require overcoming some problems, immutability and scalability. Therefore, a study on the state of the art of public budget distribution in education is considered necessary. The aim of the present study is to provide an overview of the state of the art related to the application of block chain in the distribution of public budget in education to serve as a reference for future research in this field. For this purpose, a systematic literature review was conducted through the PRISMA protocol combined with the Tree of Science (ToS). In total, 800 articles published between 1980 and 2022 in the Web of Science, Google Scholar and Scopus databases participated in the study, where the Tree of Science (ToS) algorithm was subsequently applied to identify the most relevant literature on the topic. As a result, 28 articles were analyzed. The analysis of the selected articles provided valuable insight and answered the research questions posed in the PRISMA protocol. The results indicate as research trends on the topic: technology applications, networking and mobile block chain. So, prototypes are being developed worldwide. However, there are still some relevant technological and academic.

Biography :

Received the B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and M.Sc. in Administration from Universidad National of Colombia in 2017 and 2022 respectively. He is currently a Ph.D. student in Engineering at Universidad of Caldas. He started as a research at Universidad of Manizales and Universidad National of Colombia in the interdisciplinary field of computer programming, AR, AI and Fintech. He moved to educational technology and human-software interaction applications in education and economic. Ph.D. (c) Obando is currently the Professor Department of Economic and Finance of Universidad of Manizales.
