Prediction of stature from incomplete and decomposing skeletal remains is vital in establishing the identity of an unknown individual. This study aimed in finding out the correlation between height and truncal skeletal breadths defined by biacromial breadth (BAB), biiliocristal breadth (BICB), chest breadth (CB) and bitrochanteric breadth (BTB) of an individual and to derive regression formulae to estimate the height from the parameters measured. The result showed that a moderate positive correlation exists between height and BICB, CB and BTB, while BAB showed a very weak correlation.
