Accumulating evidence suggested that thoughts, emotions and behaviors balanced and moderated both endocrine and immune activities, so endocrine disorders often coexisted with psychiatric diseases and vice versa. The present literature review aimed to understand the most effective methodological approaches in the nursing management in endocrinepsychiatric disorders. PubMed (MEDLINE) and Google Scholar databases were consulted from January 2016 to today, to identify relevant studies for further analysis. A total of 761 records were identified and only 127 scientific papers selected. Finally, only 6 articles were included. From the evidence selected it seemed that a complete and integrative data collection appeared to be an urgent need in order to allow further information linkage in endocrinological-psychiatic nursing management.
