Abstract :

Aim of this presentation is to present the results of combination treatment with fractionated radiofrequency, laser or pixell with chemical peels on skin resurfacing. Literature results do not show many results on that treatment combination. The authors called the technique- FACEAZ. Superficial micro holes are made on the skin surface with technology (laser, radiofrequency, pixell). Chemical peels are applied afterwards. The micro holes that are made previously with the technology allow deeper penetration of the chemical peels and significantly enhance their effect. The risks of both treatments are minimal and are safe to combine. After the treatment it is advisable to put anti-age component as vitamin C, retinol, hyaluronic acid or collagen that can enhance the final result. Both techniques are proven to be effective in skin tightening and resurfacing. Combining both, the effects are multiplied while the downtime stays the same. After implementing this rejuvenation protocol in our practice, patient’ satisfaction has significantly risen. The power of the FACEAZ technique is in the synergy between fractionated radiofrequency, laser or pixel and chemical peels that simultaneously biomodulate the skin in very effective way with excellent final result and virtually no downtime.

Biography :

Zoran Zgaljardic is a world renowned and award-winning surgeon and he is Owner, Aesthetic surgery centar by Zgaljardic and one of the cofounders of World Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. In 1999 started his own private clinic in Opatija for cosmetic and maxillofacial surgery. In 2009 established another private clinic in Zagreb. He was graduated in medical school University of Rijeka in 1986 and residency in maxillofacial surgery and plastic surgery of head and neck and also a board certified for general cosmetic surgery by the International Academy for cosmetic surgery (IACS). He did his master degree and PhD at the Medical School University of Rijeka. Pioneer in laser liposuction and invited speaker in workshops in lasers lipolysis, secondary rhinoplasty and facial rejuvenation. He is the board member at EUSAS Board [European Society of Aesthetic Surgery], International faculty- AGORA and World Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
