Abstract :

Local Anesthesia is the backbone, anchor, or in short the mainstay in the Dental General Practice without which we as a dentist cannot do any dental treatment. But Failures in Action of Local Anesthesia is seen on about 10% cases of Inferior Alveolar Nerve Block and about 7% of all cases in General Dental Practice and each and every dentist has experienced this sometime in his practicing career. The Operator and the Patient Factor leading to this Failure will be outlined and their management discussed to counter this issue.

Biography :

Shaikh Anwar Hussain, completed his FDSRCS (England) in 1988 after his BDS and MDS from Bombay. He is the Director of Marigold Dental and Orthodontic Clinic, one of the leading Dental Implant and Orthodontic Center in Abu Dhabi. He was a lecturer for Dental students at Ajman University and has been a Master Clinical Trainer for Navident since 2016 December and has conducted 4 certification courses. He is also lectured and did workshops at the CAI Academy Conference in Dubai in 2017.
