1st December is the World AIDS Day which brings together people from around the world to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and demonstrate international solidarity in the face of the pandemic. The day is an opportunity for public and private partners to spread awareness about the status of the pandemic and encourage progress in HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and care in high prevalence countries and around the world. From 2011-2015, World AIDS Days will have the theme of "Getting to zero: Zero new HIV infections. Zero discrimination. Zero AIDS related deaths". The World AIDS Campaign signifies a push towards greater access to humanitarian approach and holistic treatment for all; a call for medical professionals to act now. Being a medical student what can we do for those who are victims of AIDS? Our search ended at one of the NGO named ?Sevalaya? (The Service House) taking care of the victimized children of AIDS. Can we make any difference in their life? Can we Zero Down the emotional breakdown of these victims? Can we Zero Down the spread of AIDS? Our experience explores the answers to all questions.
