Abstract :

Post-traumatic stress disorder is considered a very cruel disorder that ravages a person’s life and leads to a comprehensive change in the person’s personality, especially when the person lives a long life and has a deep relationship with friends and relatives and loses them in a horrific, painful and shocking way. Thus, a new sad story begins when the symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder begin, ranging from sadness, panic, fear and apprehension. And horror from the slightest stimulus and a major change in a person’s personality, behaviorally, intellectually, and spiritually, to the point that the least that can be said about him is that he is a completely different person. What is unfortunate is that many of them do not know that this is a disorder that requires urgent intervention, and some resist and fight because of stigma and because of the fear of losing their job, which leads to a significant deterioration in cognitive functions. Cognition, insight, and the emergence of psychotic symptoms over time.

Biography :

Dr. ALSHAIKHI , IBRAHEM got a high qualification in the Department of Psychiatry and Psychological Support. He worked in different sectors during the training period, which gave a lot of experience and exposure to cases related to wars and psychological injuries also worked with very many cases suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder due to the geographical location, and thus his passion for studying increased. Substantial changes in personality traits after the disorder develops.
