Abstract :

Given the current and future development of Next Generation Internet and Smart Computing, the automation and robotics are entering a new era of innovation and applications. The Robotics Internet is becoming a public platform for Smart Robotics Devices to communicate and learn from each other via pervasive access to common resources. This ultimately introduces new challenges on how to manage the Industry 4.0 and plus, to increase the highest quality and higher productions rates of products and productivity, The author discusses the current and development trends in the field of Automation and Robotics and Smart Manufacturing Information Systems. The author further discusses the issues related to future application and design trends. The main contribution of this work is to provide a state of the art of the Automation and Robotics today, while exploring a future research trends of large and complex smart manufacturing industrial sites in support of business competitiveness and successful growth.
