A culture of trust is imperative to attain and sustain superior performance. This workshop looks beyond traditional organizational models by exploring the approaches used by top performing fortune 500 companies, elite military units, including United States Navy SEAL teams, and leading sport teams. Whether in medical, pharmaceutical, engineering, science, technology, or business setting, attendees will learn, by case studies, personal stories, lecture and group exercise specific practical and proven leadership behaviors that create an exceptional culture of trust. Attendees will learn to fully appreciate the profound power of these behaviors and the remarkable long-term positive impacts on employee engagement, retention, innovation and overall performance. These leadership behaviors will not only be explicitly defined, but also measured, rewarded, and if necessary, corrected at the point of service. Special emphasis will be placed on discussing new research that will help participants understand the vast potential of the leadership phenomena. He is the first, and only, Pharmacy Officer in the United States Navy to serve as Commanding Officer of one of the 5 premier Navy Medicine Family Medicine Teaching hospitals.
