Abstract :

Profile of Helicobacter pylori patients received at the laboratory of toxicology of the University of Kinshasa from July 2016 to July 2016 in the DRC (Hp-PDRC): Last year, at the 3rd Euro case reports in Valencia Spain, Dr. NDELO, Head of our Laboratory of Toxicology reported an interesting case concerning Helicobacter pylori responsible of numerous extra-digestive pathologies in DRC. Indeed, CO2 and NH3 liberated by Helicobacter pylori in patientsâ�?�? stomach, fly along the esophagus, in gaseous form. They reach the lungs and finally, the circulating system, still in gaseous form, provoking numerous extra-digestive pathologies, changing the classic Helicobacter infection into a â�?�?Helicobacter toxic infectionâ�?, because of the intoxication component. The present paper intended to report the situation of the phenomenon one year later. A retrospective survey has been conducted on laboratory records concerning poisoning records from July 2016 to July 2017. After selection of relevant medical files and data collection, the interpretation of the results has been done. In a total of 186 patients received, 170 were positive to helicobacter pylori but the total of 186 patients expressed the typical signs of NH3 and CO2 intoxication. In conclusion, this paper confirms the results presented last year at the 3rd Euro case Medical reports in Valencia, Spain.

Biography :

Patrick Ndelo Matondo is pharmacist from the University of Kinshasa in Democratic Republic of Congo. He graduated in July 2006 and joined immediately the Laboratory of Toxicology of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Kinshasa. After full training in toxicology, he performed a master in Molecular Biology and nowadays is about to start another master in Public Health at the School of Public Health of the University of Kinshasa. He is registered as student in PhD process.
