This study is conducted as descriptive to identify professional nursing values of nursing students. This study is conducted with 188 students who are at 1st and 4th grades in May 2016, at School of Health. Data is collected through a questionnaire form and â??Professional Values Scale in Nursingâ?. â??Professional Values Scale in Nursingâ? is developed by Weis and Schank, and is adapted to Turkish and confidence and validity studies are performed by Ge?§kil et al. The lowest point to get from the test is 26 and the highest point is 130. Voluntarily participation of students is sustained for the study. In the study, 55,3% of students are in first grade, 44,7% of students are in fourth grade; 72,9% of them are female and 27,1% of them are male. In the study, average professional value point is found as 103.25. Professional value point averages of fourth grade students are higher than first grade studentsâ?? (p<0.05). The study shows that score of students who are female, attend scientific meetings/congresses, take training on professional values, plan academic career, have statistically significant values (p<0.05, p<0.01). As a result, scores of nursing students on professional values scale is over average points. It could be recommended to have much more comprehensive researches to identify the factors that affect professional values.
