Objective: This study aimed to investigate undergraduate nursing students�¢���� attitudes and willingness to promote Advanced Care Planning (ACP), offering evidence support for the ACP training program of nursing students and promotion of ACP application with exploring the related influencing factors. Methods: A survey was conducted among 312 nursing students studying in a university in Sichuan Chengdu, by using the general information questionnaire, the attitude of ACP scale and the nursing students�¢���� willingness of promoting ACP questionnaire. Results: The score of nursing students�¢���� attitudes towards ACP reached 24.97���±2.75 (total score 9-36) while willingness of promoting ACP score was 79.26���±9.70 (total score 24-120). Religious belief, grades, relationships with family and discussion on the subject of death were associated with undergraduate nursing students�¢���� willingness of promoting ACP. Conclusion: Our findings indicate that undergraduate nursing students hold a positive attitude towards ACP, but in poor knowledge status and little information support. In order to improve the cognitive level and promotion ability of ACP on which consequential implementation and application are based, systematic and adequate trainings toward ACP for undergraduate nursing students are in urgent need.
