Abstract :

While classical metabolomics made little use of isotopically labeled materials, there has been a recent dramatic increase in the use of isotopes in metabolomics studies. These range from targeted analyses using isotopic standards, fluxomic analyses using isotopic metabolites, to the use of fully labeled organisms as controls (the IROA approach). This session will examine all of these approaches.
