Headache is just a small phase of migraine but it is most disability causing among all the phases of migraine episode. Usually patient feels drained out after the headache phase. Prevention of migraine headache and reducing the severity of the migraine attack can be done if the patient knows exactly what happens during the migraine attack and what are the common semiology migraine shows before the actual headache start and what are the triggers that can initiate the migraine headache. The patient who were diagnosed with different type of migraine were assessed regarding the prodromal symptoms, the triggers and the preventive strategies which need to be known by the migraine patient in order to have a control of their migraine. The migraine patients were also assessed about the level of disability and impact of migraine on work productivity and the study findings will show knowledge level of the migraine with various social and clinical profiles which insist the importance of patient teaching and education for prevention of disability among migraine patients.
