Abstract :

Analgesics are drugs that are used to alleviate or eliminate pain of various etiology and intensity. Pain is the most widespread cause of physiological and psychological stress as well as common reason for seeking help, which is why analgesics are extremely important as means of treating severe pain. Analgesics can be divided into opioid and nonopioid; in this research we are talking exclusively about opioid analgesics with a special emphasis on their pharmacokinetics. The first part of the research contains the method of obtaining opioids, their division depending on the chemical structure, behavior towards the opioid receptor, the main effect they achieve. The second part of research shows the pharmacokinetics of individual opioids depending on the method of administration and pharmaceutical form.

Biography :

Sara Grujic was graduated at Faculty of Pharmacy in Podgorica and she was having experience in pharmacist at public pharmacy of Mojkovac in the year 2021; In the year 2022 she became Chief Officer at Pharmacy Sector and In 2013-2021.
