Objective: To show the parameters of quality of life in patients waiting for bypass surgery more than six months and in patients with a bypass already underwent; present and analyze the differences in the domains of quality of life between groups; show frequency and severity of anginal pain in both groups, the frequency of use of nitroglycerin and the percentage of deaths in the group of patients waiting for surgery. Methods: This descriptive study was an observation section with retrospective data from medical records. The study was conducted on patients awaiting bypass surgery more than six months, in the Clinical Center Kragujevac performed coronary angiography between May 2012 to March 2013. Patients will be divided into two groups: those who are waiting for the operation and those who bypass built. Quality of life will be evaluated on the basis of questionnaires EQSD-SL Results: Significant differences between the groups exist only in two areas, the movement and the presence of pain/ discomfort. The group awaiting surgery 17 (27.9%) patients using nitroglycerin, while in the group of treated patients, only 2 (3.3%) patients using this medicine. The group is waiting for an operation anginal pain were reported by 23 (3S.30,'8) patients while in the second group, only 1 1 (18.3%). Conclusion: Considering that after bypass surgery is no need to use nitroglycerin, due to the reduction of angina! Symptoms reported, the quality of life of patients after this operation is significantly improved, especially in the area of movement and feeling pain.
