Abstract :

F acing the requirement of informatization in the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) industry, the article introduces the technology principles of search engine for the TCM industry and the technology used in the Brainet Search, a project focuses on the application of vertical search engine in the TCM industry. The article analyses the value of the Brainet Search and its similarities and differences compared with other search engines and it finally looks ahead the future development of vertical search engine in the TCM industry.
