Under our observation there were 67 children with onco-hematological pathology, some changes in the quality of life of patients and neurological disorders were found associated with the underlying disease and with specific cytostatic therapy. The quality of life was changed in all children with neurological disorders and depends on the attitude of patients and their parents for the prognosis of the disease. Various vegetative disorders were detected in all patients, regardless of age. There were the immunological and biochemical changes in K+, Na+, Ca2+ in the blood of patients. All patients showed an imbalance of microelements and a depression of Ca2+ content. Neurological disorders had defined as asthenic, sometimes with hyperkinetic/ dynamic component, polyneuritis, diencephalic, myasthenic, pseudo-myopathic, vestibular-atactic, anxious-phobic, epileptic and other syndromes. With cytostatic therapy, motor disorders with psycho-emotional disorders were detected and the prognosis of the underlying disease worsened and the quality of life of all children was significantly impaired. The patients motivation for recovery in the prognosis decreased. Neurological and psychological disorders worsened with cytostatic therapy. We found that neurological and psychological changes in patients were determined by a single pathogenetic mechanism with biochemical and other changes that can be used to predict the course of the disease in children. Special correction of treatment in such circumstances influenced the prognosis and quality of life of patients.
