Abstract :

The statistical approach and the statical treatment of the data are very useful for Occupational Hygiene because, without it, the hygienist could take a bad decision after a survey in a workplace. The main aim of Occupational Hygiene is based on concern for the health of employees. Not only samples but also to be able to understand the exposition and to take the right decisions for reducing the exposure. The speech will concern how to manage the data after monitoring and what kind of statistical tools are available for the occupational hygienist. The speech will show the more common tools usable, for instance, IHStat, IHData, IHStat Bayes, Expostat Recent Publications (minimum 5) 1. Biography :

Olindo Ianniello is an Occupational Hygienist Certified, owner and founder of his consulting company CONSILIA based in Switzerland. With more than 20 years of work experience, he is a member of Swiss Society of Occupational Hygiene and he is a member of several association in the field of occupational hygiene. He is specialized in the monitoring of chemical contaminants, physical agents (noise, vibrations, non-ionizing radiations, electromagnetic fields) but also in ergonomics. He operates as occupational hygienist in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and co-works with the no-profit association Workplace Health Without Borders as coordinator in training courses in the fields of health and safety for developing countries
