Abstract :

The alteration in the functionality of the kidney usually is seen affected by different factors that trigger different problems in the general health from the patients. The renal insufficiencies undergo evolution in their affectation that produces the acute renal insufficiency and the chronic renal insufficiency. The treatment of the chronic renal insufficiency is sustained in the combination of three forms of the treatment that get ready at present: Hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and renal transplant. The different forms to treat the disease are what can guaranty the survival of the patients. In this revision and the medical considerations that must have a dentist in the attention of a patient with chronic renal insufficiency, dialysis or renal transplants, because the own characteristics of these dysfunctions or the drugs administered in the treatment, repel in the oral route.
