Scientific Tracks Abstracts: Adv Practice Nurs
Objective: To explore the application effect of project proposal in undergraduate nursing research teaching, providing a reliable method and the credibility basis to improve the quality of teaching. Methods: Totally 234 nursing undergraduate who had learnt to write research proposal between 2014 and 2017 in Sichuan University were surveyed by self-designed application effect of project proposal in nursing research teaching questionnaire. Results: The usage of project proposal exerts a great influence on nursing students: 88.1% thought it can influence the intake of research theory, 86.8% believed it helps transform the theory into practice while 83.3% insisted the improvement of scientific research ability. The mainly harvests derived from writing proposal involve six aspects: Consolidation of theoretical knowledge, promotion of research interests, enhancement of teamwork ability, improvement of research capacity, expansion of scientific thought and an increase in autonomous learning ability. Conclusion: Resulting from the application of research proposal in nursing research course, nursing undergraduates show that their comprehensive research competence and study result improve significantly.
