Covid19 has turned our world upside down and dramatically changed our lifestyle, behavior and consumption. The pandemic struck every continent on our globe and has surfaced all our major life and health challenges. One of these challenges is the female menopause awareness and treatment. Women going through the hormonal transitioning and changes, have suffered greatly throughout the pandemic. The many spoken as well as unspoken symptoms, have been emphasized during the exceptional challenges while facing a global pandemic. Moreover, we have witnessed a serious shortage in HRT pharmaceutical patches which has been further critical in light of the burden in manufacturing PPE equipment in the fight against Covid. Given the huge population affected by these challenges and systemic implications of menopause which are now perceived as more comprehensive than initially thought. It is absolutely a matter of global and social concern, and hence, it is crucial to address the educational aspects of women’s health throughout menopause, as well as prioritizing the availability of appropriate pharmaceutical solutions and social platforms and legalizations to support women’s health during this critical time in life. The lack of appropriate handling of these challenges will result in tragic outcomes to millions of individuals, their families, communities and countries. Therefore it is the author’s approach and recommendation for governments to take measures to promote women’s health for better social structure, better use of economic resources, better performance in the labor segment and consequently – a better world.
