Dr. Ibrahim Faruqi is the Director of Interstitial Lung Disease Program and Intermediate Care Unit in the University of Florida. He has completed his training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine from University of Kansas and in Internal Medicine from St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center, Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons, New York. In addition he obtained a Master Degree in Public Health from Western Kentucky University. He has published his peer reviewed articles in prestigious journals such as AJRCCM Infectious Disease Clinics and Critical Care Medicine.
Research Interests include Interstitial Lung Disease, Novel Therapies in IPF, Quality Improvement in the ICU, ARDS, Sonography in Critical Care, and Medical Education.
