Biography

Arif Rahman received his BSc in mechanical engineering from Bangladesh university of engineering and technology (Dhaka, Bangladesh), and MSc & PhD degree in mechanical & aerospace engineering from Oklahoma state university, USA. He worked as a research associate at Oklahoma state university during his PhD. Currently he is working as a research scientist for MaxQ research LLC. He has published more than 10 peer-reviewed articles and conference proceedings and holds a patent for compartmentalized vacuum insulation composites.

Research Interest

His research interests are in the eld of design of advanced materials with an emphasis on the investigation of mechanical and thermal behavior of modern engineered materials
