Biography

Dr. Kuppast is currently a Postdoctoral research associate in the Pharmaceutical Sciences department at Midwestern University, Downers Grove IL. His research area includes small molecules drug design, medicinal chemistry, organic chemistry and currently working on small molecule therapeutics as anticonvulsants and analgesics. Before joining Midwestern University, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, South Dakota State University, Brookings, South Dakota. Dr. Kuppast has authored several articles in peer reviewed journals including European journal of medicinal chemistry, Marine drugs, Medicinal chemistry, and Hormones etc. and presented his work research work in many conferences such as American Chemical Society, American Association of Cancer Research, and Annual Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS). Based on his research work, Dr. Kuppast has received many awards. Dr. Kuppast has been serving on the Editorial Board of Der Pharmacia Lettre, Cancer Research Journal, American Journal of Psychiatry and Neuroscience, Journal of Cancer Treatment and Research, American Journal of Cancer Therapy and Pharmacology. He has been as expert reviewer for the many journals such as Open Journal of Synthesis Theory and Applications, Journal of Biotech Research, International journal of organic chemistry, Oxidants and Antioxidants in Medical Science, and Advances in Biological Chemistry etc. Dr. Kuppast is a member of many professional societies such as AAPS, and ACS.
