Ms. Chen Zhang is a PhD candidate of Epidemiology in Vanderbilt University since 2013. Her research mainly focuses on HIV prevention among high-risk populations across different settings and cultural contexts. By working with multidisciplinary teams, her research has covered different public health concerns (e.g., mental health, partner violence, drug use) as well as related risk factors among at-risk populations. By conducting these research projects, she has expertise on both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. In the past a few years, she have published more than 30 manuscripts and 60+ conference presentations. Based on this research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors, such as International Scholarship for XVIIIAIDS Conference, Excellence in Abstract Submission in 2010 APHA conference. She is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like Journal of Community Medicine & Health Education, Journal of Epidemiology Research & expert Reviewers for journals like BMC Public Health, AIDS CARE, Social, Science & Medicine. She has authored more than 40 research articles/books. She is a member of American Public Health Association and International AIDS Society.
