Curie Ahn, Korean physician, scientist, and educator, trained at Seoul National University Hospital also trained at Cincinnati Medical Center. From 2004 to 2012, she served as a president in Transplantation Research Institute in Seoul National University, while serving as a president in Transplantation Center from 2008 as well. Also, she has been serving as a member of the committee and a chief academician in the Korean Transplantation Society as well as a member of the committee and a consultant in National Institute of Health. She set up efficient organ procurement system and facilitated deceased-donor transplantation in Korean society. She served as a chief academician in 12th Asian Xenotransplantation Symposium and since 2013; she has been working as a member of the committee of Asian Xenotransplantation Congress. She even played as an academician in the World Transplant Congress (WTC) 2014 while working as a member of the WTC since 2010.
