Rafath Razia

Biography

Prof Rafath Razia has done her post graduation in Nursing from Delhi University during the period of1979 to 1981. Currently, she is self-employed and works as Director Esemar Trust carrying out health, education and social related activities in India. She has successfully completed her Educational and Administrative responsibilities as Principal Nursing College and Deputy Director Nursing of Andhra Pradesh State India. She had been engaged in guiding Master’s students’ research projects from 1988 onwards. She has also worked for the in-service education of nurses working in primary and secondary level care referral hospitals under World Bank Project from 1996 to 2002 as Asst. Commissioner. She had been consultant at Unicef HFO, FHI360 Delhi, and Indian Institute of Health and Family Welfare Hyderabad. Her research study was on manifest anxiety in primigravida mothers with pre-eclampsia. She has been a speaker on topics related to health, research and nursing in many conferences and workshops and is a recipient of oration award. She is serving as an editorial member of reputed OMICS Medical Sciences journals and also as an expert Reviewer for the same. She has authored modules related to health, nursing care and teaching and has published articles in national and international journals. She is a member of professional associations like TNAI, NNF, NRSI, and SOMI.
