Acute Coronary Syndrome refers to a condition where the blood flow in coronary arteries is decreased leading to non-functioning of the heart muscle. ACT is a complication due to buildup of plaque in the arteries in the heart. Symptoms are similar to that of Heart attack, which include chest pain (burning sensation radiating to left arm), nausea, vomiting, sweating & Shortness of breath.
