Analytical chemistry

It is a science which describes the methods and instruments to separate, identify, and quantify matter. It focuses on improvements in experimental design, chemometrics, and the creation of new measurement tools. It has broad applications to forensics, medicine, science and engineering. It includes wet chemical methods for separations such as precipitation, extraction, and distillation and instrumental methods for separation such as chromatography, electrophoresis or field flow fractionation.
