Bile duct cancer begins when normal cells in the bile duct change and grow uncontrollably forming a mass called tumor. A tumor may be cancerous or benign. A cancerous tumor is malignant means it can spread to any other parts of body whereas a begin tumor cannot spread to the body parts.
