Bioelectricity is a phenomenon of electric connections in the animals or plants. It is an application of electricity to the living system. The electric current is generated by the living tissue, such as nerve and muscle. It is the interaction between electric fields and biological entities. Short lived electric events are called as action potential which is caused due to the voltage gated ion channels allowing resting potential caused by the electro-chemical gradient across the cell membrane.
