Cardiomyopathy is the abnormal condition of heart muscle (myocardium). Cardiomyopathy types are dilated, hypertrophic and restrictive cardiomyopathy. It results in irregular heart rate and sudden cardiac death. Symptoms include chest pain, fatigue, difficulty in breathing, Swelling of the legs, ankles and feet.
