Diverticulosis occurs with the formation of pouches on the wall of colon. When these pouches are infected and inflamed. Bacteria that grow in the pouches are causes of infection and inflammation. Symptoms associated with Diverticulitis are abdominal pain, fever and chills, Bloating and gas, constipation, Diarrhea, loss of appetite. Diverticulitis is diagnoses through blood tests, complete blood count, X-ray and CT scan.
