Nanotechnology is used in the field of nanomedicine to treat diseases effectively by using nanodrugs. Functionalities can be added to nanomedicines by interfacing them with biological molecules or structures. The size of nanomedicines is similar to that of most biological molecules and structures; therefore, nanomedicines can be useful for both in vivo and in vitro biomedical analysis.
