Preclinical trails are the processes by which test drugs and devices used are to see if they are safe and effective. In preclinical trails are drugs test first on animal bodies whether the treatment really works and also make conformation that if it is safe to test on humans. First thing for researcher is to explore, explain and describe a topic on which the research is going on and investigate how to use it to treat and prevent sickness. The researchers first get an idea for a drug target after that they develop a bioassay means a live system that can be used to measure drug effect then screening of the drug in bioassay takes place. After that establish what dosage of drug is safe and what amount of drug is toxic. Then we have to take approval from Food and Drug Administration and Investigational New Drug by making all list of applications of discovered drug.
