Thyronamines (TAMs) are a recently distinguished class of endogenous flagging mixes. Their structure is indistinguishable to that of thyroid hormone and deiodinated thyroid hormone subsidiaries, aside from those TAMs don't have a carboxylate gathering. In spite of some underlying productions going back to the 1950s, TAMs did not form into an autonomous region of research until 2004, when they were rediscovered as potential ligands to a class of G protein-coupled receptors called follow amine related receptors.
